Sycamore Street Press update: New Shop, Big Sale, New Goods on the Way

Well, some people got all in a huff last week when I hinted but didn't tell....that we've been working on a new online shop! (shop.sycamorestreetpress.com) Ok...maybe it's not that exciting to you, but it is to us. We're having a grand opening sale this week. We want to make room on our crowded inventory shelves for new items! If you know someone who would like to purchase some hand printed paper goods, that person could put in the code "grandopening" and get 25% off of their entire order. And, there are quite a few things already on sale, so with the additional discount, that lucky person (could be you, who knows?) could get a really great deal.

Today was a red letter day on the press. Literally. Above is a test print from our 2009 calendar. Below is a new design for a frame mat by Stephanie Ford. We had some requests for a mat to accommodate horizontal photos, so here it is! Steph did a great job on the design, as always, and I love the new bright red that she suggested I print it in.

The winner of Kirk's Friday give away (picked from a hat) is Danielle. Please email us at info(at)sycamorestreetpress(dot)com with your address, and you'll be getting some funny little beasts in your mailbox.

This is fantastic! It was a well waited for surprise! Did not disapoint! Can I make a request, print the baby alphabet in some shade of green and yellow? Everyone seems to be doing their nurseries in either green or yellow these days and I want to get that for everyone expecting a baby...including myself ;) no we're not yet, but hope to be soon, and I want to paint the nursery yellow :)
